Data Specialist

Part-time, NJ Office


Data Specialists create, verify and update prospects lists. You will be using database sources, online search engines and phone verification techniques to ensure that lists are relevant, highly targeted and include up-to-date contact information for our sales teams to call.


You will support Customer Success Managers with market research strategies and data such as: target industry, title path, account type, account size and prospect’s functional area. Your work will be on line as well as on the phone. You will be responsible for a quota and specific performance metrics.

Your typical day:

  • Creatively locate decision maker contacts and other business information through online research

  • Effectively build lists in Microsoft Excel

  • Communicate professionally over the phone to validate and obtain new data on behalf of clients

  • Give detailed feedback and recommendations on successful methods to collecting information

  • Other duties as assigned



Successful candidates:

  • BA/BS Degree preferred but not required

  • Strong verbal communication and problem solving skills

  • Communicate effectively via phone

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Good understanding and navigation of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel), understand list building and manipulation, web apps, and web-based email

This role is a part-time role of ~20 hours a week.
